This is a rather blurred picture of the Trapani skyline seen from the salt marches in Sicily where we were painting with our Art Toscana students. It happened to be the same three masted schooner we had once seen in Viareggio some months previously when Chris and I were relaxing in between our May and July Tuscany Art Toscana art courses in Italy. What a coincidence. Chris said that it was definitely the same one although you couldn’t really see it clearly from such a distance. It’s a shame I couldn’t get a better picture. I needed a long focus lense. Our painters who chose this view did a much better job than any photo could do.
