I love this picture of Chris at The Saline in Sicily where our guests at Art Toscana Art Vacations in Italy spend the day painting the spectacular views across the salt pans to the open sea. Chris chose the view of the hilltop town of Erice, which as you can see, touches the clouds and is often hidden completely by them. He had just demonstrated to the guests at Art Toscana Painting Courses in Italy more techniques for applying the oil paints, before returning to his own painting.
